C3 (Calhoun County Connections) Luncheon Features Partnership and Collaborative Impact Fund

The Battle Creek Community Foundation and the Southwest Florida Community Foundation hosted the second annual C3 luncheon on February 28 at Collaboratory to gather donors from these sister foundations to celebrate their similarities and to partner in providing technical and financial support to emerging social entrepreneurs and small businesses in our communities, to meet the needs of disadvantaged populations. Our Collaborative Impact Fund (C-Impact) was launched at the luncheon and is over halfway to its start-up goal.

The $100,000 goal to kick off the C-Impact Investment programs will provide this unprecedented partnership with the Impact Investment tools and resources it needs to be responsive in demonstrating innovative approaches.
