2018 Tribe Stories: Legal Rescue and Empowerment Project
The Immigration Legal Rescue and Empowerment initiative will provide legal services to at-risk immigrant families through an initiative delivered by an experienced immigration law nonprofit. This initiative consists of three key strategic components: (1) the formation of a regional “Hub” for immigration law training and consultation; (2) an outreach campaign of “Know Your Rights” clinics to bring critical, time sensitive information to immigrants while also providing emergency planning family legal services; and (3) encouraging and enabling other SWFL nonprofits to become certified providers of immigration services.
