The LGBT Community Fund of Southwest Florida
The LGBT Community Fund of Southwest Florida is referred to as a “multi-donor fund,” which is a giving circle that engages like-minded individuals and organizations to increase philanthropic support in Southwest Florida for the unique challenges and opportunities facing Southwest Florida’s LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender) community.
Grantmaking from the LGBT Community Fund is research-based. Through research, the fund’s steering committee will identify the greatest needs in the SWFL region for the Fund’s granting focus. Contributors to the Fund of $250 or more are considered Fund Contributors and will have voting privileges on that year’s grants focus area selection.
